The Organic Runner <\/strong><\/a>began a little out of the blue. Chronic illness meant that on my lengthy route to recovery, I had to steer away from finding traditional careers, they couldn't fit around my energy levels.<\/p>

From a young age I'd always been passionate about sports, a quite talented all round athlete in my younger days! I used to run but when chronic illness took over in a big way, all activities had to stop. As the years have gone by I\u2019ve managed to gradually let a few activities creep back in gently. Running is still on my agenda, on hold at present due to previous issues with my knees, many runners will know about that! I also need more energy. That doesn\u2019t stop me having the drive to get to that point or having a passion and understanding of everyone else who loves to put their trainers on and RUN!<\/p>

I need fitness and sport to regain my health. I still have limitations on the energy that's required to achieve the life goals I'd like, but moving, getting my heart pumping as often as I can, I take more steps forward than backwards with the pleasure of wearing inspiring clothing both in design and sustainable nature of the fabrics used.<\/p>

Along side my desire for sports and fitness I'd always been creative with an interest in fashion. Nowadays we are all more focused on sustainability. Fast fashion is an enormous global problem.<\/p>

I came across the company Teemill<\/strong>, in them I found the ideal opportunity to begin a new career combining my great passion and love for fashion. I am now proud to be associated with them, they have in my opinion made an outstanding contribution to the circular fashion industry. Their sustainable clothing is made from 100% organic cotton. Their key focus that items should to be created from the start to be remade in the best eco friendly process it's called \u2018Remill\u2019. After selling, being worn, returned, remade, reprinted and reused, clothing can last and last. The concept and practice that clothing is infinitely recyclable <\/em>has to be the way forward. Clothing is printed on demand in renewable energy powered factories, from fibre to re-fabrication, the entire supply chain where our products are from is owned by Teemill with it's head quarters on the Isle of Wight, UK. They know the farmers who grow the cotton, with traceability from seed to our store.<\/p>

From here, The Organic Runner<\/strong> began, sustainable fashion encompassing areas of life that I love, giving me that constant drive and optimism to one day be fit, healthy and strong again.<\/p>

I'm also delighted to be able to offer an extensive size range from smaller to plus sizes.<\/p>
